Not all the magic will be on the screen when the True West Film Center opens later this month. The nonprofit plans special presentations and lectures, and will have the ability to stream them to multiple screens and even other locations. Classes, family programs and special events will make the location a potential cultural hub for Healdsburg. A Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, following a VIP Preview on Friday, Oct. 24, of Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.

Here are some photos of site tour and enthusiasm-raising event at the True West Film center on Sept. 25 this year. (All photos by Rick Tang.)
