Monday, March 2 

9:06am Graffiti was reported on Grant Street at the railroad tracks on the Foss Creek sign.

10:27am The Reporting Party (RP) on Fitch Street said she was involved in trying to evict a male tenant. A couple of days earlier, the tenant was smoking marijuana and told the RP that she was lucky she is a woman because otherwise he would kill her. The RP wanted a report. The RP was asked to arrive at the police department at 11:15am so a Spanish-speaking officer could assist. The RP did not show.

3:22pm Two men argued at Healdsburg City Hall on Grove Street. Officers responded and made contact with the parties. The argument was verbal only and no crime was committed.

4:45pm The RP on University Street saw a person steal approximately 100 oranges from his property. The RP wanted to press charges for trespass and petty theft if the person was identified.

5:03pm A 52-Year-Old (YO) woman went to the Healdsburg Police Department on Center Street to retrieve her property. She was found to have four outstanding Sonoma County warrants. She was arrested and brought to county jail for possession of a controlled substance and on warrants regarding possession for sale of a controlled substance, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor hit-and-run, and possession of sedatives or benzodiazepines. Her property was released to her partner.

7:11pm The RP on Benjamin Way said the RP’s property was being falsely listed for sale. The RP has the deed to the house. The suspect pretended his name was the same as the RP. An officer spoke to the RP, and they planned to speak again when there was further information.

10:14pm A probation search was conducted on three people at West Plaza Park on North Street. A 55-YO woman was cited for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.

Tuesday, March 3

9:33am The RP attempted to sell cabinets on Nextdoor and was contacted by a person who the RP believed to use several fraudulent tactics. The RP refused to continue business with the person. The RP wanted the information to be documented.

12:20pm The RP at Healdsburg General Hospital (HGH) on University Avenue came to the hospital with her boyfriend and claimed she fell off a scooter, breaking ribs and other bones. Her boyfriend did not leave her side for a long time. When he went to the waiting room, the RP told staff that she was severely beaten and made up the story about the scooter so that her boyfriend would agree to take her to the hospital. The RP was afraid her boyfriend would become agitated and cause a scene. Officers responded, but the suspect was gone on arrival. A Be On the Lookout alert was sent to officers. An emergency protective order was requested, granted and entered. A report was taken. The following day at 1:32pm, the 39-YO suspect was arrested for domestic violence at Safeway on 4th Street in Santa Rosa. He was transported to county jail for criminal threats, domestic battery and knowingly and maliciously preventing a witness from giving information in an inquiry.

2:20pm The RP’s vehicle was parked at the Senior Center Lot on East Street. By the time she returned to her vehicle, it had been keyed. The damage was about two feet long. The RP wanted to press charges if the suspect was identified. An officer contacted the RP and took a report.

Wednesday, March 4

7:44am A large commercial truck on Ferrero Drive was parked in the middle of the roadway blocking the public right of way. The vehicle was also parked on a non-commercial truck route. An officer responded, and the occupant said he would move the vehicle.

11:53am The RP at the Roundabout on Healdsburg Avenue sped and passed vehicles recklessly. Officers were on the lookout for the vehicle, but it was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

12:27pm A 52-YO man at West Plaza Park on North Street was cited on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding trespassing.

2:45pm The RP near Carl’s Jr. on Vine Street said her friend was stalked by an ex-boyfriend. An officer responded and arrested a 45-YO man for violation of probation. He was taken to county jail.

3:46pm The RP said her ex-spouse contacted her via Facebook in violation of a court order. An officer met with the RP and took a report. 

5:03pm Mail tampering occurred on Parkland Farms Boulevard and Saddle Draw. The incident was referred to the United States Postal Service.

5:36pm A 29-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for a previous incident involving a violation of a court order.

11:38pm Two men were yelling on Ward Street at the railroad tracks. Officers contacted the men. A 24-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for violation of probation.

Thursday, March 5 

5:29am The RP, a staff member of HGH on University Avenue, indicated that a woman who had been drinking drove herself to the scene. She refused a blood draw and services, and then tried to leave. Officers arrived. The 31-YO woman was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI) and on two outstanding warrants regarding driving with a suspended license for DUI and failure to appear in court.

2:40pm A probation violation officer arrested a 49-YO man at West Plaza Park on North Street for violation of probation. He was brought to county jail.

5:30pm After property damage due to a traffic accident at the 7-Eleven Store on Healdsburg Avenue, the RP said the other party refused to pay because he did not like the $2,800 repair estimate. Officers contacted the other party at his residence. The officers advised him of the report and he said he would contact the RP to come to an agreement. While officers were at the residence, a search was conducted because he was on probation. The 56-YO man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, March 6

3:13am A suspect vehicle from a previous incident was located at Jerry’s Valero on Dry Creek Road. A 45-YO woman was arrested and transported to county jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving or taking a vehicle without consent, conspiracy, giving false identity to an officer and on an outstanding warrant regarding conspiracy. A 46-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy, and aiding and abetting.

9:00am The RP near First Nails on Vine Street said someone hit her parked vehicle while she was at work. The suspect vehicle did not stop or leave a note. A witness saw the incident and had information regarding the suspect vehicle. Officers contacted the RP and the owner of the suspect vehicle. The RP did not want to press charges but wanted to exchange information for insurance purposes. Information was subsequently exchanged.

10:03am Vehicle occupants were contacted near the former location of Giorgio’s Restaurant on Grant Avenue. A 45-YO man was arrested and transported to county jail on two outstanding warrants regarding failure to appear.

3:01pm The RP on West Grant Street spoke with an officer about a restraining order she wanted to obtain against her former neighbor. The RP had received messages containing various accusations. The RP was advised about how to obtain a restraining order, and contact was attempted with the other party.

Saturday, March 7

12:39am A 50-YO man on Matheson Street at Healdsburg Avenue was stopped for failing to yield. He was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI.

2:24pm The RP on Maxwell Street at Powell Avenue said there was a possible intoxicated driver who drove all over the roadway and almost struck a parked vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, which was not occupied. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the driver. 

3:52pm A man and woman were at Farrow Ready Mix Company on Healdsburg Avenue without permission. An officer responded and searched the area. The people were gone on arrival and unable to be located.

10:42pm Multiple callers reported approximately 10 shots were fired on School Street. Two callers saw a large flash. It was unknown if the flash and noise were caused by fireworks.  Officers arrived on the scene but did not see or hear anything amiss.

Sunday, March 8

10:46am The RP on Chestnut Street went to retrieve items from a vehicle. The RP noticed that a laptop, shoes and other miscellaneous items had been stolen. An officer spoke with the RP and took a report. 

8:03pm The RP on Prentice Drive said the daughter of a friend struck him in the eye with her fist. The RP wanted to press charges. Medical assistance was declined. An officer responded and took a report. At 8:40pm, there was an additional verbal argument. The incident was documented, and the incident number was provided to the property manager.
