Monday, June 8

7:27am Construction on Brown Street began prior to the allowed time. An officer advised the responsible party of the city ordinance.

10:18am Fraud occurred at the United States Postal Service (USPS) on Foss Creek Circle. Checks were dropped in the mailbox outside the building on May 19, 2026. One check did not get to its destination. Another check was altered and attempted to be cashed, but the bank intercepted it. The Reporting Party (RP) did not lose any money. The information was added to the existing case. At 11:05am, another RP said a check was dropped in the same mailbox, altered and attempted to be cashed. That RP spoke with an officer, and the information was added to the existing case. At 12:58pm, another RP said a check to PG&E was mailed from the same mailbox. The check was intercepted, altered and attempted to be cashed. The bank refused to cash the check, so the RP did not lose any money. Information was added to an ongoing investigation.

5:51pm A man fell at Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue and was unable to get up. An officer responded, as well as the man’s roommate. The roommate took the man home.

Tuesday, June 9 

8:33am Fraud occurred at the USPS on Foss Creek Circle. The RP and her husband mailed a check using the mailbox outside the building. The check was intercepted and altered. The RP’s bank was working on compensating the RP. In the meantime, the RP received a call from someone claiming to be with the FBI asking the RP to go to the bank and wire money to another account. The RP was suspicious. The RP was provided the case number and contact details for the officer on the case. The information was added to the existing case and a report was taken. At 2:44pm, another RP said the RP’s business was a victim of the ongoing fraud case. Fraudulent checks were reported. An officer contacted that RP and added her to the existing case.

12:36pm The RP’s neighbor on Langhart Court put trash bins out in violation of a city ordinance. An officer responded and advised the neighbor of the ordinance.

3:01pm An iPhone 17 was taken from Safeway on Vine Street. It pinged south of Opperman & Son Inc. on Kinley Drive. Officers responded and facilitated the return of the phone.

9:40pm An officer near Chevron on Healdsburg Avenue stopped a vehicle in violation of lighting requirements. A 37-Year-Old (YO) man was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and driving without a license. He was brought to county jail.

Wednesday, June 10

1:15am An officer on Hwy 101 at Dry Creek Road stopped a car for violation of vehicle registration. A 46-YO man was arrested for violation of probation, driving with a license suspended for DUI and resisting arrest. He was brought to county jail.

10:37am The RP mailed a check for $3,000 in the mailbox outside the USPS on Foss Creek Circle. The payee on the check was subsequently altered. An officer added the RP to the ongoing case. At 1:07pm, a different RP said she received a notification from her bank regarding the activation of her overdraft protection after a check the RP mailed was intercepted and altered. An officer added her to the ongoing case. At 2:47pm, another RP said checks she mailed at the same post office were intercepted and altered. An officer met with that RP and took a report for the ongoing investigation.

9:09pm Trespassing occurred at Farrow Ready Mix Company on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP said two women were on the property near the excavators. The RP wanted to press charges. The RP was advised about trespassing letter requirements. Officers responded and checked the area. The women were gone on arrival and unable to be located.

9:50pm An officer contacted a publicly intoxicated person on Plaza Street.

Thursday, June 11 

8:10am A man was seen opening car doors and going through glove boxes on Rose Lane. He was last seen on Bianca Lane, entering the backside of Giorgi Park via Reed Court. Officers arrested a juvenile for tampering with a motor vehicle. He was booked into juvenile hall.

10:27am Fraud occurred at the USPS on Foss Creek Circle. The RP mailed checks via the mailbox outside the building on May 26, 2026. The RP was called by the bank manager from the Stevens Creek BMO asking if the signature on the check was his. When the RP informed the manager it was not, the suspect took the check and left. The RP did not lose money. The RP did not want to make a report, but only wanted to provide the information to the police.  At 1:57pm, another RP said a check was stolen from the same mailbox. He received a call from someone claiming to be with the FBI who had all the information of the original check. The caller told him to go to his bank, take out all his money and put the money into a cardboard box. The RP did not lose any money. An officer met with the RP and provided advice.

5:59pm The RP heard screeching tires at Healdsburg High School on Prince Avenue in the parking lot. The RP believed the vehicle was doing donuts. While on the phone, the RP could no longer hear the noise. Officers responded, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

6:31pm A 43-YO man was arrested near the Trinity Baptist Church on Powell Avenue for DUI. He was brought to county jail.

Friday, June 12

3:30am Four to five people on Canary Court at Heron Drive were partying. An officer responded and advised the people of the pool hours. The people said they lived in the area.

6:25am A customer at Jerry’s Valero on Dry Creek Road drove off with the hose, which cost $1,500 to repair or replace. The RP only wanted to press charges if the customer was not willing to pay for the damages.

10:58am Three people were passed out in a vehicle at Safeway on Vine Street. A 42-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for vehicle registration fraud, treatment mandated felony for possession of hard drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Another 42-YO man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. A 23-YO woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:25pm An RP on Healdsburg Avenue reported a truck was on fire. Officers responded. The fire department and medical assistance handled the situation. At 4:32pm, another RP reported the same fire.

Saturday, June 13

10:10am A couple at Plaza Park near Goodnights on Healdsburg Avenue was reported sleeping in the park with a bike next to them. An officer located a suspect who was advised to clean up.

2:19pm Fraud occurred at USPS on Foss Creek Circle. A woman reported the fraud to her bank, Redwood Credit Union. An officer took a report.

6:02pm The RP said an intoxicated man at Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue bothered the RP and was “getting too close.” The RP refused to answer questions regarding the subject’s race and age and then disconnected the call. Officers responded and advised the man to leave the area. The man complied.

7:28pm The RP at Carl’s Jr. on Vine Street said two men argued, then separated and left. No further law enforcement assistance was needed.

Sunday, June 14

1:37am The RP on Healdsburg Avenue said the RP’s neighbor hit her vehicle and multiple other vehicles. The RP stood by and hoped the neighbor would return. Officers arrived on the scene and called the owner of the vehicle. Insurance information was exchanged.

2:05am The RP on Larkspur Drive said the RP’s mom argued with her boyfriend and that the boyfriend was taking the house apart. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted all parties. Subsequently, no further police assistance was needed.

2:35am The RP on Healdsburg Avenue at Paul Wittke Drive said a vehicle hit a street sign and a light pole. A 45-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI.

2:54pm Fraud occurred at USPS on Foss Creek Circle. The RP and her son stated a check was altered and cleared. They planned to notify their bank, Bank of America.  The information was forwarded to the officer working on the ongoing case. The RP was provided the officer’s card with the incident and case number.

7:52pm The RP at the former location of Rite Aid Drugstore on Healdsburg Avenue reported a child custody order violation. The officer spoke with the RP and the other parent. The other parent said the child would be dropped off by 10:45pm. An incident number was provided to the RP for her records.
