Monday, June 22
2:06am A vehicle was stopped on Dry Creek Road at Kinley Drive for violating vehicle registration rules. A 33-Year-Old (YO) man was cited for violation of probation and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 47-YO man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
10:14am Fraud occurred at the United States Postal Service (USPS) on Foss Creek Circle. The Reporting Party (RP) mailed a check at the mailbox outside the building. It was subsequently altered. The RP believed the bank would reimburse her. The RP was provided contact information for an officer working on the case and the case number. At 1:56pm, another RP indicated that she mailed a check on June 1, 2026. The check was subsequently altered and someone tried to cash it. The RP canceled the check. The RP gave a copy of the altered check to the police department. The same check was altered a second time and the RP provided a copy. At 2:57pm, a third RP said a check was mailed from the same post office and subsequently altered. The information was forwarded to the officer working on the case and a report was taken. At 4:51pm, another RP indicated a check was taken from the same mailbox. A case number was provided and a report was taken.
Tuesday, June 23
11:52am A man who had already been served trespassing paperwork was at St. Paul’s Church on Matheson Street. The RP did not want the man arrested, but wanted him to leave. An officer advised the man.
12:09pm Fraud occurred at Chase Bank on Vine Street. An unauthorized transaction was made on May 26, 2026, at an automated teller machine (ATM). The RP stated her card was always with her, so she was not sure how the transaction happened. Her bank denied reimbursement but agreed to reconsider that decision. The RP was advised the information she provided would be documented and to contact her bank to figure out where the transaction happened.
12:56pm The RP on Florence Lane said someone attempted to send her a fake wire of $4,000 for one of her paintings. An officer responded and took a report.
1:38pm The RP, a customer of Bank of America on Healdsburg Avenue, received a message claiming to be from the FBI. The message requested help with proving bank tellers were stealing from the bank through money transfers. The RP was tricked into transferring money to another account. The RP was not reimbursed. An officer responded and took a report.
10:24pm Three different RPs said they heard possible gun shots on Mason Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate anything amiss. Another RP said he saw fireworks in the area.
Wednesday, June 24
1:52pm The RP on Center Street at Matheson Street witnessed a hit-and-run accident. An officer searched the area and did not find a victim’s vehicle. A bystander took a photo of the suspect vehicle. The information was logged.
Thursday, June 25
1:00am A vehicle was stopped on Healdsburg Avenue at North Street. A 43-YO woman was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI).
11:20am Fraud occurred at the USPS on Foss Creek Circle. The RP said that a check she mailed was stolen and altered. The RP believed her bank stopped payment, but did not know if she lost money. The information was forwarded to the officer working on the case, and a report was taken.
1:33pm The RP at Susan Graf Ltd. on Matheson Street said a homeless man stole pants from a rack that was on the sidewalk outside the business. He tucked the pants under his orange sleeping bag. An officer contacted the man and he had the stolen item with him. The business owner only wanted the man admonished. He was advised and moved along.
3:40pm A warrant service officer at the Healdsburg Police Department on Center Street cited a 53-YO man on an outstanding warrant.
4:59pm The RP at Safeway on Vine Street stated a previous shoplifter was back in the store and stole items. When the man was asked if he would like the RP to ring him up for the items, the man threatened the RP. The 25-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for violation of probation and shoplifting.
5:06pm The RP at General Dynamics on Foss Creek Circle requested police to respond because there were approximately 12 protesters who trespassed, knocked on doors and took photos of the inside of the business. Officers notified the protesters of the complaint and advised them not to return.
6:02pm The RP at Circle K on Healdsburg Avenue said a woman was inside the store bothering customers. She was asked to leave, but refused. Officers responded, contacted the woman and determined no crime had been committed. The RP requested she be trespassed from the property. The woman said she would take a bus to Cloverdale.
9:10pm A 55-YO man at West Plaza Park on North Street was arrested and brought to county jail on two outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding drug possession without a prescription after two or more prior convictions, brandishing a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
Friday, June 26
1:17pm Fraud occurred at the USPS on Foss Creek Circle. A check was mailed at the USPS mailbox outside the building in September of 2025. The check was subsequently altered. The RP gave police copies of the check for a report.
1:47pm A vehicle on Hwy 101 at Dry Creek Road was stopped for speeding. A 31-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for driving with a license suspended for DUI, failure to appear and on an outstanding warrant regarding failure to appear, petty theft, DUI and driving with a license suspended for DUI.
6:07pm A warrant service officer at Healdsburg Police Department on Center Street cited an 18-YO man on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding possession of alcohol as a minor.
9:58pm A vehicle near Chevron on Healdsburg Avenue was stopped for violating license plate display rules and defective or insufficient vehicle lighting. A 53-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI.
Saturday, June 27
1:11am A vehicle was stopped near Jerry’s Valero on Dry Creek Road for defective or insufficient vehicle lighting. A 55-YO man was cited on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding possession of methamphetamine.
7:17am Construction workers at Fitch Mountain Elementary Campus on Monte Vista Avenue violated a city ordinance. The RP received a flyer that said the workers would be working during normal business hours. Officers gave advice.
9:33am The RP on Larkspur Drive at Grant Street said there was an argument on Foss Creek Trail. Officers responded and contacted a man who said he yelled at himself. He then left the scene.
9:51am A 50-YO man across from Great Clips on Vine Street was arrested and brought to county jail for public intoxication and obstructing an officer.
5:17pm Graffiti was reported on a fence by the homeowner on Sherman Street. The RP said the graffiti was there for about a year, and the RP wanted to inform the police that the RP planned to paint over the graffiti.
11:36pm The RP near Healdsburg Montessori School on Grove Street said a vehicle accident was heard. The RP believed the driver was trying to get away. A second RP called about the same accident. Officers arrested and brought to county jail a 36-YO man for DUI.
Sunday, June 28
1:36am An officer saw a battery at Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue. A 23-YO woman was arrested and brought to county jail for battery, obstructing an officer and violation of probation.
1:13pm The RP at Farrow Ready Mix Company on Healdsburg Avenue said trespassing occurred on the property. A truck was on the scene. The RP called back and said the vehicle had subsequently left.
