Monday, Aug. 3
7:25am The Reporting Party (RP) requested followup on theft that occurred at the United States Postal Service on Foss Creek Circle. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office had taken the case. An officer spoke to the detective.
12:30pm The RP said a vehicle was damaged on University Street. She was not the registered owner and did not witness the collision, but said vehicle parts were scattered in the area and along the roadway. An officer responded and took photographs. Further investigation was planned if the registered owner contacted the department.
2:36pm The RP arranged for a man to sell a car in August of 2024. The vehicle was sold in October of 2024, but the man did not pay the RP. The RP took him to small claims court and he paid her $6,000. A balance of $6,500 remained outstanding. The RP’s lawyer suggested that she file criminal charges because years went by without payback. The RP was told an officer would call her.
Tuesday, Aug. 4
9:49am The RP at Safeway on Vine Street said a reckless driver swerved and was unable to maintain the lane, almost hitting another vehicle. An officer responded, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.
3:07pm Graffiti was reported at the Railroad Depot on Harmon Street.
3:51pm The RP on Rose Lane said the RP’s rear passenger tire was slashed on July 31, 2026. The RP did not have suspect information and wanted the information documented.
11:26pm The RP at Memorial Bridge on Healdsburg Avenue indicated a vehicle had a possibly intoxicated driver. The vehicle went between lanes at inconsistent speeds on Hwy 101 from Santa Rosa to the Old Redwood Highway exit. An officer responded but was unable to locate the vehicle. The officer would continue to be on the lookout.
Wednesday, Aug. 5
8:18am The RP, the owner of Pax Auto Service on Healdsburg Avenue, said a cover valued at $500-$1,000 was stolen from a customer’s vehicle. The vehicle was at the business for repair for multiple weeks. The RP was told the victim, the owner of the car, had to call to request a report.
10:39am The RP on Healdsburg Avenue went to check her mailbox for medications after getting a notification that they had been delivered. Her mailbox was open and empty. The RP was provided the United States Postal Inspection Service Hotline phone number and website for information to report the incident.
12:17pm Fraud occurred on Grove Street. An email was sent to an officer and follow up was pending. A report was to follow.
4:26pm A 41-Year-Old (YO) man went to the police department on Center Street. He was arrested for violation of probation and brought to county jail.
10:06pm The RP at the West Plaza Parking Lot on Healdsburg Avenue said a man stumbled and fell. The man subsequently sat in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with the car turned off. Officers responded and contacted the man. He was intoxicated and laid down in his vehicle to sleep, not to drive.
Thursday, Aug. 6
7:28am Graffiti was reported on a utility box on March Avenue.
11:48am The RP, an employee at Tisza Bistro on Healdsburg Avenue, said a person removed a large tree trunk from the parking lot near the bathrooms. Gravel and plants were left all over the place. An officer spoke with the RP and documented the incident.
2:27pm The RP on Haydon Street believed he was scammed in a crypto scheme. An officer took a fraud report.
3:19pm An unwanted man with a cart was at Solful on Healdsburg Avenue. An officer advised the man to move along. The business worked on filing trespass paperwork. At 3:33pm, the man was at Little Saint on North Street yelling obscenities. An officer requested a mobile crisis team to respond. The man refused transport. The agitated man remained in town. At 5:08pm, multiple callers said the man was at Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue yelling and kicking signs. Medics transported him to Healdsburg General Hospital (HGH) with his dog. Public Works was contacted to check and change the fountain water due to possible contamination from the man. At 6:47pm, the same man was outside the Emergency Room doors of HGH. He yelled and cursed at the staff. While officers tried to contact a mobile crisis team for support, the man left on foot with his dog. It was determined that no response was needed.
7:55pm A woman at Safeway on Vine Street stole $300-$400 worth of merchandise. The RP wanted to press charges if the suspect could be identified. An officer reviewed video footage and took a report. Further investigation was planned.
8:36pm The RP on Johnson Street said the RP’s house burned down on Sept. 15, 2025. The RP believed a clean up and restoration service stole $15,000 worth of jewelry and other items out of the house on the same day. Due to the time delay, lack of evidence and inability to identify suspects, the incident was documented. An incident number was provided for insurance purposes.
Friday, Aug. 7
2:12am An officer on Healdsburg Avenue contacted a 37-YO regarding drug paraphernalia found on his person on Aug. 6, 2026. He was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
11:48am A petty theft officer at Safeway on Vine Street wanted a case number for a theft he is investigating. A report was taken.
5:55pm A vehicle was stopped near Pepper’s Healdsburg on Dry Creek Road for violation of registration rules. A 20-YO man was arrested on an outstanding warrant regarding contacting a minor to commit certain felonies or sex crimes and knowingly sending, showing or distributing harmful or obscene material to a minor with the intent to arouse sexual desires or to seduce the minor into a sexual act.
9:02pm Two people argued at L&M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue. An employee tried to keep the parties separate. Officers responded and contacted the involved parties. One party alleged the other brandished a firearm. Officers did not find a firearm after a search. However, drug paraphernalia was found and seized for destruction.
Saturday, Aug. 8
1:08am A vehicle on Dry Creek Road at Kinley Drive was stopped because the driver did not maintain the lane. Officers began the process of field sobriety tests when they discovered a ghost firearm, six magazines and a pipe. A 35-YO man was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm; carrying a loaded firearm with the intent to commit a felony; illegal possession of ammunition; the manufacture, possession or sale of a ghost gun; the manufacture or sale of a large capacity magazine; and possession of illegal paraphernalia. He was brought to county jail.
8:05pm A man on Plaza Street challenged people to fight and yelled obscenities. Officers contacted the man. Police determined that no crime was committed. The man left the area.
8:31pm A 55-YO man was arrested near the Healdsburg Fire Substation on Healdsburg Avenue for driving under the influence (DUI) and driving with a license suspended for DUI.
Sunday, Aug. 9
5:59pm The RP at Casa Del Mole on Center Street stated two men acted violently towards the cashier. Both men had been drinking. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted both men. One declined to provide his name. A 40-YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for violation of probation and public intoxication.
8:32pm A probation violation officer at Rotten Robbie on Healdsburg Avenue cited a 49-YO man for violation of probation.
10:07pm A man at Duke’s Spirited Cocktails on Plaza Street assaulted the RP and refused to leave. Per the RP, the man pushed the RP. The RP stated that he wanted to press charges. Officers arrived and contacted the staff and suspect. A 41-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for battery and public intoxication.
