In the mood to celebrate the romance of Valentine’s Day
(Saturday, Feb. 14 for those who don’t remember) with that special
someone? Here’s a couple of ideas in the North County.
Restaurant Mirepoix, located in downtown Windsor,
will offer a seven-course prix fixe dinner. The $90-per-person
charge includes a glass of Solo Rosa Rose and excludes gratuity and
sales tax. Serving starts at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required by

The Alexander Valley Grille at Chateau
Souverain will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu from
5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for $90 per couple with a special menu prepared
by executive chef Martin Courtman. For reservations call
433-3141.
The previously mentioned Alexander Valley Grille at Chateau
Souverain will host a re-opening celebration on Saturday, Feb. 21
from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature items from the new
menu and wine tasting. Admission is $20. Call 433-8281 for more
