Although lumped together as the “Rockies,” the Canadian and American Rockies are quite different, reports Pierre Ratte.

Off the Top of My Head: New money in town

There is a lot of new money in our county, buying up the real estate. One new neighbor told me he moved up here because it was cheaper than where they lived in the East Bay. Yikes, people moving here because it’s cheaper?

Someday We’ll Laugh About This … Right? Wildlife

A few weeks ago I was sitting in my dining room, checking in with Matt (who was at work), when a movement outside the window caught my eye. Cityscape

There is a lot going on in Healdsburg as we head into the summer months. The Tuesday concert series has begun, the Healdsburg Farmers' Market is up and running, summer camps and classes are beginning, and swim lessons at the Healdsburg Swim Center are underway. You should also see a number of street projects underway, thanks to Measure V funding. The increase in road construction activity includes slurry seal, street rehabilitation and sidewalk improvements. Please visit our website for a complete list, www.cityofhealdsburg.org.

‘Angels’ lands at Raven Performing Arts

:Every Sunday matinee we do a post-show discussion with the audience, so they get a chance to make comments and ask questions of the actors. We saw there were a lot of people who were quite moved and quite touched by the play. So the opening weekend could not have gone better, as far as I’m concerned," said director Steven David Martin.
