Sebastopol Lighting & Home Furnishings will host a Meet the
Artist event on Sunday, May 7 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the store at 154
North Main Street. The event will feature 16 local artists showing
their new work, including paintings, hand-blown glass, pottery and
textiles. There will be wine and hors d’ oeuvres.
See the world on horseback
On Thursday, April 27 at 7 p.m. the Russian River Riders will
sponsor an International Riding Vacations slide show by
Equitours.
Have you ever wanted to see the world from the back of a horse?
Does a ride from vineyard to vineyard in France or a gallop on a
beach in Ireland interest you? Equitours will present its worldwide
riding opportunities and adventures on six continents. Refreshments
will be served. The event takes place at Hoofbeat Park, one block
west of Highway 101 on Dry Creek Road in Healdsburg, 7 p.m. For
