Monday, Jan. 29

9:43am The first of two reports were received of a man and woman screaming at each other at Chase Bank on Vine Street. Although officers responded and the subjects moved along, at 11:22am the same couple were again arguing in front of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce on Healdsburg Avenue. Officers responded and this time arrested a 32-year-old (YO) woman on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding resisting arrest and evading police.

11:40am In the West Plaza Parking Lot on Healdsburg Avenue, officers cited a 27-YO man for unlawful possession of marijuana and on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding similar charges.

12:23pm An officer contacted a 24-YO man at Syar Industries on Healdsburg Avenue. The man was arrested and transported to county jail for receiving stolen property, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia.

6:29pm A reporting party (RP) on Bridle Path stated that two young men (or perhaps teens) showed up in a white truck and started a verbal fight with the RP’s husband and son. The men left in the truck, and the RP did not want to press charges. She was advised to call back if the men returned.

Tuesday, Jan. 30

11:38am Indecent exposure was reported behind the former Wicked Slush on Healdsburg Avenue. Officers and a therapist responded and asked the man to move along. No weapons, drugs or alcohol were seen. The RP did not want to press charges.

1:43-2:58pm A series of graffiti incidents were reported in the Grove Street-Foss Creek Path area.

4:22pm An accident was reported at Mason Street at Front Street. The RP stated a vehicle swerved toward his vehicle and forced him to hit the sidewalk, causing significant damage to the vehicle. Officers responded and arrested a 32-YO man for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI). He was transported to county jail. 

11:44pm An officer contacted a 26-YO man at Jerry’s Valero on Dry Creek Road. The man was cited and released for possession of methamphetamine.

Wednesday, Jan. 31

9:05am Graffiti reported on the bridge near Grant Street at the railroad tracks.

2:32pm A cyber/computer crime reported on Alexandria Drive. A popup window on the computer screen instructed the RP to call a specific phone number. The RP called the number and began to provide some personal information, but realized it was a scam. The RP was advised to contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center at IC3.gov.

2:42pm Petty theft reported at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue. A man stole four bottles of tequila, two containers of hot food, a loaf of bread and salami, valued at $373. Officers responded and took a report.

4:56pm A woman set up a camp at Jog Corporation (150 North St.), across from the SingleThread Farm restaurant. The woman did not respond to the RP or other employees when she was asked to leave. An officer and a therapist responded and advised two people to move along.

6:54pm An officer contacted a 63-YO man at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue for carrying a loaded firearm. He was arrested and cited for violating probation and driving with a suspended license.

Thursday, Feb. 1

1:44am A vehicle was stopped at Chevron South on Healdsburg Avenue without a valid registration. A 28-YO man was arrested, cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

8:09am Reckless driving was reported at St John’s School on Fitch Street by a bicyclist who said the driver almost hit him when he was riding his bike. The RP located the vehicle at St. John’s School. An officer responded, but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

Friday, Feb. 2

7:20am The RP, a Verizon employee, reported that a female customer stated she was abused and beaten by a man throughout the night on Adeline Way. Officers responded and contacted the woman at her residence and contacted the suspect on foot nearby. A 62-YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for domestic battery.

8:24-8:43am Several graffiti incidents reported along Healdsburg Avenue from Matheson to Mitchell Lane.

1:20pm The RP stated he believed a man was openly smoking crack from a glass pipe outside Dollar Tree on Vine Street. Healdsburg units responded and contacted the man. The paraphernalia was taken for destruction.

1:32pm An elderly transient woman with a lot of luggage was reported at the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce on Healdsburg Avenue. An officer responded, and the woman moved along.

1:35pm An officer contacted a 39-YO man at Dry Creek Inn on Dry Creek Road. He was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, Feb. 3

11:51am The RP stated that a transient woman was pushing a transient man at Powell Avenue Coin Laundry. Officers responded to the front of 7-Eleven location, where a 32-YO woman was arrested and transported to county jail for resisting arrest, false imprisonment, public intoxication and violating probation.

4:13pm The RP stated that they were contacted by a man on Adeline Way against court order. The 62-YO man was already in custody for a domestic incident on Feb. 2, 7:20am. 

4:20pm A vehicle was stopped for unsafe lane changes moving southbound on Highway 101 at Redwood Highway. A 41-YO man was arrested and transported to county jail on an outstanding Humboldt County warrant regarding receiving stolen property. From the same vehicle, a 64-YO man was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, a 49-YO man was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:54pm The RP stated he saw a vehicle hit the parklet in front of the Healdsburg Running Company on Center Street. The vehicle backed up and parked in the nearby CVS parking lot. The RP believed the subject had been drinking. Officers responded and located the vehicle. A 22-YO man was arrested, cited and released to a responsible party for drunk driving and misdemeanor hit and run.

Sunday, Feb. 4

2:18am Threats occurred at the L & M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP stated her neighbors played loud music, and a person called her obscenities and threatened to injure her. The RP wanted to press charges for criminal threats. An officer responded and advised the subjects of the complaint.

10:19am An officer stopped a vehicle at The Lodge on Grove Street for not having a valid registration. The 29-YO driver was cited and released for driving with a suspended license for DUI.

10:43am The RP indicated that his vehicle was vandalized on Feb. 3 on Mason Street. The vehicle’s window was shattered, but the RP did not believe anything was taken.

11:48am The manager at Starbucks coffee on Vine Street stated a man in front of the store was playing obscenely loud and inappropriate music. He was asked to either turn the music down or leave. The man left on foot, but his belongings remained in front of the store, so the manager believed he would return. Officers responded and cited and released a 28-YO man for violating probation. At 3:35pm, the same person returned to Starkbucks, but the RP was not willing to press charges. The responding officer advised the subject of the complaint.

3:41pm A vehicle was stopped on Healdsburg Avenue for failure to use headlights during inclement weather and failure to properly display license plates.  A 47-YO man was cited and released for possession of methamphetamine and violating probation.
