have teamed up to celebrate two American originals this summer
with “All American Classics: Barbeque and Zinfandel” cooking
classes. Weber’s own Jamie Purviance, author of “Weber’s Art of the
Grill” and “Weber’s Big Book of Grilling,” will be teaching master
grilling classes at Quivira for those wanting to hone their skills
around the grill and learn about food and wine pairing. Quivira
Estate Vineyards and Winery is located at 4900 West Dry Creek Rd.
in Healdsburg. The classes will be held July 31 and Sep. 25 from

The Russian River Wine Co.,
located at 132 Plaza St. in Healdsburg will host Winemaker
Pouring events this month. On Saturday, June 19 Jake Bilbro from
Marietta Winery will pour his wines from 4 to 6 p.m. For 23 years,
Marietta has created full-bodied, fleshy reds with lots of
fruit. Bread and cheese will be served to compliment the wines.
