The Cloverdale High School football season was one of the most successful and exciting in recent memory, a year that included both individual and team achievements. Last month, Eagle’s players were rewarded for their accomplishments in all-league voting by coaches.

The Lady Lions and Tigers reached the end of a three-month basketball journey this week in their respective North Coast Section playoff tournaments, putting the final touches on a couple of outstanding seasons.

Local high school softball teams managed to get in a couple of games in limited spring break action, as Analy slipped by non-league opponents Pinole Valley (3-0) and Tamalpais (6-1), while El Molino came up just short in a 17-12, 8-inning slugfest against Fort Bragg.
