Tim Rosaaen passed away Friday Nov. 23, 2007 in Santa Rosa. He
was the husband of Karen Rosaaen of Healdsburg; father of Kim
Polyhornakis of Yuma, AZ, Cort Rosaaen of Southern Oregon., Jeff
and Chris Rosaaen of Eldridge and Matt Rosaaen of Redding and the
late Timothy O. Rosaaen; grandfather of Matt Polyhornakis, Calista
Garcia and Brandon Collins; son of Olga Rosaaen of San Leandro and
the late Whitney Rosaaen; brother of Terry Rosaaen of Folsom, Glenn
Rosaaen of Rawlins, WY and the late Steve Rosaaen also survived by
several nieces and nephews and his St. Bernard “Bart.” The former
manager of Fred Young Funeral Home. Tim was in funeral service for
over 45 years in Healdsburg/Cloverdale, Los Gatos, San Jose and
Hayward. He had been a member of Lions Clubs for more than 30 years
serving as President of both Healdsburg and Los Gatos Lions Clubs.
A charter and board member of the Healdsburg Dog Park Committee, he
and Bart were volunteers with the Creating Wellness Canine Program
at Healdsburg District Hospital. Tim was an avid quadline kite
flyer. He had many and varied interests during his life including;
kite flying, bicycle touring, sailing, boat building, R/C
Sailplanes and he loved to cook for other people both privately and
at special events. Tim took great pride in being an active friend
of Bill W’s for the past 22 years. He was a native of San Francisco
aged 65 years.
Friends are invited to attend and participate on a Celebration
of Tim’s Life Sunday Dec. 9, 2007, 2 p.m. at the Villa Chanticleer
Annex, 1248 N. Fitch Mountain Rd. in Healdsburg.
