Kenneth A. Awson – PG&E employee

Kenneth A. Awson entered into rest peacefully surrounded by
family and friends on Jan. 6, 2008. Kenny was born on March 16,
1944 in Healdsburg. He was and always will be the best husband,
father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by
his three children, Kenneth Ray Dawson, Karen Solorzano, and Koren
Dawson; his son-in-law Carlos Solorzano; five grandchildren,
Stephanie, Brittany, Jason, Jimmy, and Joe; and two sisters, Louise
Johnson and Terri Molsberry.He is also survived by numerous nieces
and nephews. Kenny touched many hearts everyday and made friends
throughout his life. He had a large extended family through his
work, PG&E, spending a vast majority of his life with them. His
best friends were Karlene Adams, Sandy Worswick, and Mitch Freese.
Kenny also had a loving caregiver who took the extra mile with him,
Virgilio. Friends and family were invited to attend the funeral
service, Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 at 3 p.m. at the Parent-Sorensen
Mortuary-Sebastopol, 301 S. Main St. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Ave.,
Santa Rosa, CA 95401. Private Interment was held at the Sebastopol
memorial lawn.
