Bernice E. Demostene – avid gardener

Bernice E. Demostene, 84, entered into rest June 15, 2004 in
Healdsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Francis R.
Demostene; mother of the late Daniel R. Demostene and Francis L.
Demostene; daughter of the late George and Ethel Rose; grandmother
of Donn F. Demostene of Santa Rosa and Tina L. Demostene of
Orlando, Florida; and great-grandmother of Jason T. Demostene.
Bernice, a Healdsburg native, was an avid gardener and homemaker.
She enjoyed her numerous bus trips to Reno and being with her
grandchildren. Services were held at Oak Mound Cemetery in
Healdsburg on Friday, June 18, 2004. Donations may be made in
Bernice’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
