‘Red’ on Stage
Opening night of the play Red, the 2010 Tony Award-winning drama about the tumultuous relationship between abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko and his fictional assistant, Ken, in the late 1950s. The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition holds the fourth annual Golden Spoke Awards Gala on Friday, Sept. 11, 5-8pm. Windsor’s annual Chili Cook-Off is one of the town’s most popular community events, with craft beer, local wine, live music and 18 chili teams competing for top honors.
