The Jimtown Store in the Alexander Valley will
host its first “First Thursday Wine Bar” on Thursday, Feb. 5 from
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. featuring the wines of Bella Vineyard. Featured
wines will include the 2001 Dry Creek Zinfandel ($9.50 glass) and
the 2000 Estate Late Picked Zinfandel ($10.50 glass). Guests can
enjoy a complimentary menu with the purchase of a glass of wine,
including Jimtown Sweet & Spicy Nuts, House-made Seeded Whole
Wheat Crackers, Mushroom Strudel with Mascarpone Cheese, Butter
Lettuce & Watercress Salad with Blood Oranges and Spicy
Pistachios, Braised Short Rib Ravioli with Gorgonzola Butter and
Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Tartlets.
Pedroncelli Winery will host a combined
Presidents’ Day and Valentine’s Day celebration on Saturday, Feb.
14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free event will feature the 2000 Dry
Creek Valley Port with port brownies from Costeaux Bakery. The
