Winter is here, time for beer Holiday ales in wine country
While outsiders may only think of Sonoma County as “wine country,” beer aficionados are aware that this is also home to some of the finest craft beers available. So in the spirit of the holidays, local brewers are stepping up to create unique ales with a Sonoma County twist.

Being a creative, high-strung sort, meditation is something that I have always thought was for others. I have set up little alters with flowers and feathers and incense and a pretty pillow to sit on, purple or deep red being preferable, and tried to call forth a still mind. If anyone was watching I probably looked serene enough while I was planning dinner or wondering if the cost of this little scene could be tax-deductible as a medical expense.
Are all Wes Anderson films alike? Not quite
Wes Anderson is a genius, and whether or not one appreciates his highly mannered and idiosyncratic style is mercifully subjective. And his singular vision is one that I guarantee will be studied a hundred years from now alongside Jacques Tati, Ingmar Bergman and Jean-Luc Godard.

“Wanderlust” is the kind of screwball comedy that used to make censors froth at the mouth and demand boycotts. It is loaded with illegal drugs, casual sex, and nudity—lots of full frontal nudity. But based on the accompanied minors in the audience, many parents consider this R-rated comedy a perfectly acceptable family film.
