Healdsburg Animal Shelter is looking for volunteers to work during the Sunset Magazine Breezehouse tours. Home tours are Fridays-Sundays starting August 3 and ending September 9. Volunteer shifts are 4 hours long (9:30 – 1:30 and 1:30 – 5:30) and HAS will receive a donation for staffing the project with volunteers. Call Jamie at 431-3386 X19 to volunteer for this fun project.

Garbage contracts continue to challenge
When the town has a voter mandated competitive bidding process for our garbage collection, green waste and recycling and we enter into a contract pursuant to that mandate, can the town change the terms of the contract prior to the contract expiration?

It’s like I don’t need any other present! (The truth is a Bluetooth speaker might be kind of cool. I don’t know. What would I need it for? The ad didn’t suggest why I would want it, only that I would want it.)
