For some time now it has seemed more and more dangerous to fall into any discussion about politics. We stopped talking politics around the Thanksgiving table and it’s risky in most other places, too. Even some marriages have suffered and long friendships have been broken off.

Last weekend I decided to tackle Thomas’ room. It was time to do a thorough dusting and vacuuming, not just a quick pass. I also wanted to go through his closet and dresser to pull out some clothes that didn’t fit any longer, and see if we could weed out a few old toys that he doesn’t play with anymore.

‘Angels’ lands at Raven Performing Arts
:Every Sunday matinee we do a post-show discussion with the audience, so they get a chance to make comments and ask questions of the actors. We saw there were a lot of people who were quite moved and quite touched by the play.
