Senior Center Happenings
The Healdsburg Senior Center is located at 133 Matheson St. in downtown Healdsburg and is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center gives preference to adults 60 and older. If there is available space, adults of all ages are welcome to participate in any program of interest. Unless otherwise noted, all programs and classes are free of charge. Snapshot: The Well-Traveled Road
Macadam refers to a road-surfacing material and a method of construction. Developed in 1820, it’s named after inventor John McAdam. His method and material was a major breakthrough improving on Roman stone and cobble construction.
