March is about to be branded ‘the tastiest time of the year’ with Restaurant Week lasting for a full 10 days this year, for the first time since its debut.
This extension gives diners more time to plan their restaurant visits and take advantage of exclusive, one-time offers that feature locally sourced produce, meats, seafood and herbs. The event provides a choice of three-course, prix-fixe dinner menus for $19, $29, or $39 as well as two-course, prix-fixe lunch menus for $10 or $15.
The local restaurants that are currently participating include: Barndiva in Healdsburg, Zazu Kitchen and Farm in Sebastopol, Korbel Delicatessen & Market in Guerneville, Chinois Asian Bistro in Windsor, Hip Chick Farms in Sebastopol and Vignette in Sebastopol – with more being added daily.
If you’re planning to take advantage of this gastronomical delight, we strongly advise that you start thinking strategically. You can head over to www.SonomaCounty.com/Restaurant-Week where you can sort menus by cities and/or price, and check out each restaurants special listing for the week. Reservations are recommended.
If you’re a restaurant owner who wants to join this highly anticipated event and wants a bit more visibility, consider reserving a co-op ad space on our full page Restaurant Week special section, to be printed in all four of our weekly newspapers. Contact [email protected] for more details.
