It’s “back to school” time again and that means shopping trips for new school clothes, buying new notebooks, pens and erasers for the backpack and complaining about how early the first class bell is scheduled to ring.

Positive impact

Healdsburg offers an exceptional quality of life that my family and I have truly appreciated for 27 years. We have been very active in the community and have worked to help preserve Healdsburg’s character and values. Healdsburg is a community of volunteers and we all find the best way to contribute. I have been able to give back through serving on the council and believe that I have made a positive impact over the years. I look forward to serving for four more years.

As we observe National Volunteer Week (April 6-12), the staff of the Healdsburg Senior Center would like to extend our heartfelt thank you and appreciation to our volunteers for all they do to serve our guests, as well as assist us in our daily operations.
