This issues log of police dispatch reports from Aug. 10 - 15. Mistaken vehicles, reckless driving, slashed tires and distruptive people, all in a week's work for Healdsburg Police.

This week's reports begin at 7:25am when the Reporting Party (RP) requested follow up on theft that occurred at the United States Postal Service on Foss Creek Circle. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office had taken the case. An officer spoke to the detective.

Monday morning at 11:57am, chickens were reported in a Brown Street backyard. The call was transferred to a code enforcement officer, who responded to the area of the reported address and attempted to locate the animals. The officer was unable to locate the animals but planned to follow up the next day.

DOWNTOWN ACTION Healdsburg law enforcement converge at the ‘Towne Centre’ earlier this week in response to a man throwing rocks at a business window. After a brief search they apprehended and arrested him....

Local law enforcement tracks down local crime. For instance, a truck spun donuts on the side of the freeway before driving toward Healdsburg Avenue at Alexander Valley Road. The driver got out of the vehicle. Officers responded and arrested a 43-YO man for DUI. He was brought to county jail.

Fireworks and fraud in police logs from June 29 - July 5, plus other crimes and concerns reported to Healdsburg Police.

Fraud occurred at the United States Postal Service (USPS) on Foss Creek Circle. Other forms of fraud are also becoming widespread, according to this week's Police Log. Meanwhile city police continue their community outreach at events like the 4th of July party.

Addirional incidents of fraud were reported at the United States Postal Service (USPS) on Foss Creek Circle. Checks were dropped in the mailbox outside the building on May 19, 2026. One check did not get to its destination. Another check was altered and attempted to be cashed, but the bank intercepted it. The Reporting Party (RP) did not lose any money. The information was added to the existing case.
