Among the reports in this week's paper, here's one from Aug. 20: "The RP on College Street stated that while staying with her mother, the RP found out that her mother gave about $20,000 to a person she just met. The RP believed that the situation was either elder abuse or fraud. An officer met with the RP and provided advice...."

9:48am A phone indicated that the phone’s owner was in an accident on Healdsburg Avenue. An officer responded, but the phone’s owner was gone on arrival and unable to be located. Phone calls to the device were not answered... And more news from the weekly Police Logs.

11:28am An accident with property damage was reported on Hwy 101 at Dry Creek Road. A Healdsburg officer located a damaged vehicle in the No. 1 lane and waited for California Highway Patrol to arrive. The officer searched the area for the suspect vehicle, but it was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

The RP’s father let the RP stay over the previous two nights in violation of a court order. The RP’s father was concerned that the RP was delusional. The RP believed he was given a large sum of money to save his loved ones from sex slavery. Officers responded and while en route, the RP was seen on Healdsburg Avenue. The 32-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for contempt of court.

Monday, July 7, 2:48pm: A woman with her belongings on private property cursed at CVS Pharmacy on Center Street. She had previously been trespassed from the business. The response was delayed due to a priority issue. An officer and the city therapist responded. The woman was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

9:38pm A woman on Powell Avenue near the laundromat screamed at people and asked for marijuana and beer. An officer contacted the woman and she agreed to quiet down.
