Monday, Aug. 17
1:15am The Reporting Party (RP) said a prowler was at the RP’s window on Tucker Street. The prowler appeared to use his phone as a flashlight. The RP had a friend staying in the RP’s back house but the friend did not answer her phone. An officer checked the property and did not find anything amiss.
9:11am The RP at Fitch Mountain Elementary Campus on Monte Vista Avenue said a vehicle ran a stop sign near the school and traveled at a high rate of speed. The information was noted.
1:52pm The RP at Taqueria El Sombrero on Center Street said there was a car accident. The parties were on scene, but the suspect tried to leave. Officers were dispatched, and a report was taken.
3:24pm A driver on Healdsburg Avenue at Passalacqua Road was stopped for reckless driving and following too close. The driver was cited for driving without a license.
3:53pm The RP said her business account at Ramey Wine Cellars on Healdsburg Avenue was hacked. $903,000 was stolen and $220 recovered. An officer responded and took a report.
4:53pm A 50-Year-Old (YO) man at Rotten Robbie on Healdsburg Avenue was arrested and transported to jail for a previous theft.
5:03pm A woman at Dollar Tree on Vine Street kept entering the store and refused to leave after multiple requests. The RP said the woman was no longer in the area but had a history of stealing items. The RP was advised to call back if she returned or if it was determined she stole something that day.
Tuesday, Aug. 18
8:36am A grand theft occurred at Grove Street Self Storage on Grove Street on May 10, 2026. The RP spoke with the facility regarding missing items believed to be worth approximately $1,000. The RP saw the items on Facebook Marketplace and could prove the items were owned by the RP. The RP wanted to press charges and spoke with an officer who took a report.
Wednesday, Aug. 19
2:55am The RP on Pozzan Road asked a man who rang the RP’s doorbell to leave. The RP was transferred to the Sheriff’s Office.
10:36am Fraud occurred at the United States Postal Service on Foss Creek Circle. The RP sent a check to a customer, but it was deposited by someone else. The bank was contacted, and the RP completed an affidavit. The RP wanted to press charges if the suspect was located. The case would be combined with an existing case.
3:41pm The RP on Arbor Way believed that on July 23, 2026, a street sweeper may have hit his wife’s parked vehicle causing over $6,000 in damages. The information would be documented. The RP filled out a request for records.
3:43pm A man in front of Jon Wright Feed Store on Mill Street threw a softball-sized rock at another man. Both men were seen pushing each other and acting erratic. An officer contacted both men. A 30-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for assault with a deadly weapon and violation of a court order.
Thursday, Aug. 20
3:07pm The RP at Jane Dispensary on Mill Street said there were ongoing thefts from the store since January of 2026. The RP said the suspects were known. An officer contacted the RP and took a report.
3:55pm The RP at Alliance Medical Center on University Avenue said an unwanted person had his vehicle jacked up to change his oil in their parking lot. An officer spoke to the vehicle owner, who then moved his vehicle off the property. The medical staff management planned to file a trespass notice.
5:52pm A man in Safeway on Vine Street made lewd comments to the employees. Officers advised the man not to return to Safeway.
9:14pm Multiple RPs on Ferrero Drive said a transport truck was unloading cars in violation of city ordinance. An officer responded, but the truck was gone on arrival and unable to be located.
Friday, Aug. 21
1:06am A driver near Powell Avenue at Fitch Street was stopped for making an illegal U-turn and inability to maintain her lane. A 32-YO woman was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI).
3:07pm An RP on Bradley Court said someone hit him. Another RP at the same address said the first caller gave a false story. A third call from the same address dropped. Officers responded and determined no physical fight happened. An Adult Protective Services report was taken.
3:31pm The RP at Safeway on Vine Street said her vehicle was hit by another vehicle. The RP said the vehicle that hit her vehicle seemed to have been parked next to her due to visible damage and paint transfer. The RP waited on scene, but the owner did not come out of the store. The RP wanted a report.
10:49pm Construction at Bank of America on Healdsburg Avenue happened outside of construction hours. An officer responded, and workers would move their work inside where they were scheduled to be working until midnight.
11:48pm A vehicle on Hwy 101 at Dry Creek Road was stopped for a broken brake light and straddling lanes. A 28-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI.
Saturday, Aug. 22
1:24am A vehicle on Old Redwood Highway at Grant School Road was stopped for displaying an unreadable plate. A 31-YO woman was arrested and brought to county jail for driving with a license suspected for DUI. She was also cited on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding DUI.
2:03am Construction in violation of a city ordinance occurred at Bank of America on Healdsburg Avenue. The police response was delayed due to a priority incident. When the officer responded, no one was found on the property.
12:53pm The RP on West Grant Street said the RP was a victim of a battery that occurred June 20, 2026. The RP wanted the incident documented for her apartment complex, but did not wish to press charges.
2:23pm A 35-YO woman at L & M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue was arrested for a previous incident involving violation of probation, aiding and abetting, and criminal conspiracy. A 55-YO man was arrested for grand theft and shoplifting. Both people were taken to county jail.
7:36pm An interview was conducted at the Healdsburg Police Department on Center Street regarding a sexual assault that took place 29 years ago. A report was taken. The exact location of the event was unknown.
Sunday, Aug. 23
12:21am The RP at Healdsburg Regional Library on Piper Street said a person was illegally disposing of a mattress. Officers arrived, and the person would pack up his belongings and move along.
