Monday, Aug. 24

9:01am The Reporting Party (RP) at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue said two protein bars, salad and two energy drinks worth $24.42 were stolen on Aug. 23. The RP wanted to press charges. An officer took a report.

5:42pm The RP on Lupine Road at Sunnyvale Drive said a vehicle sped. The RP heard the vehicle but could not describe it or provide a license plate number. Extra patrol was requested.

7:22pm The RP on Grove Street said the driver of a vehicle with a loud exhaust sped and revved the engine on Grove Street. An officer responded, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

Tuesday, Aug. 25

10:14am The city therapist received a call indicating a known person at L&M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue caused an issue. Officers responded, and the person fled. The person was wanted for resisting arrest and violation of probation. A report was taken.

3:01pm The RP at Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Healdsburg Avenue dropped off a vehicle, and an employee grabbed the RP by the throat. The RP said the incident was unprovoked. The RP wanted to press charges. Officers responded, but all parties were uncooperative.

7:40pm The RP on Healdsburg Avenue stated that Comcast workers advised the RP they would work until after midnight. The RP said that was in violation of city ordinance. An officer determined the workers were third-party contractors for Comcast and that they did not have a permit. The workers planned to pack up for the night.

11:36pm An unlicensed driver on Hwy 101 at Lytton Springs Road was cited for driving without a license.

Wednesday, Aug. 26

12:46am The RP at Safeway on Vine Street said a woman was in her vehicle and not moving. The 55-Year-Old (YO) woman was cited for possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance. She was transported to Healdsburg General Hospital (HGH).

Thursday, Aug. 27

8:31am The manager of Citrine Apartments on Grove Street said a man slept on the premises for two weeks. He parked at night and left during the day. Officers advised the man of the complaint and trespassed him from the property. At 11:07am, the man was still at the property and appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He nodded his head and acted erratic. As he tried to drive away with his door open, he hit another car with the door. The 26-YO man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. The man’s dog was taken into custody by Sonoma County Animal Services.

11:41am The RP went to the Healdsburg Police Department on Center Street and named a woman who the RP said dealt drugs “all over town.” The RP said the woman routinely sold mushrooms and LSD out of a basket. The RP used to be the woman’s roommate and saw her pick up large amounts of the drugs in the past. The RP was advised the information would be documented.

12:49pm People physically fought at L&M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue, but medical assistance was not needed. Staff believed drug or alcohol use was involved. Officers arrested a 48-YO woman and brought her to county jail for resisting arrest and trespassing.

4:34pm The RP at L&M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue said a former romantic partner threatened to go to the property if the RP did not speak with him. The RP had a restraining order against him. An officer arrested the 53-YO man and brought him to county jail for violation of a domestic violence protection order. His dog was released to a friend.

10:31pm The RP took his son to Healdsburg Hospital on University Avenue because his son was drunk and fell, which caused him to bleed above his eyebrow. His son refused to go inside unless the RP bought him wine. The RP was told that the police could not force someone to get medical attention. The RP was transferred to Redcom, the emergency medical dispatch. Redcom transferred the RP back to the police dispatch because the RP said his primary concern was his son’s drunkenness. Officers responded, and the RP’s son went into the Emergency Room willingly.

Friday, Aug. 28

10:27am Four counterfeit $50 bills were used at Goodwill Industries on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP had video of the woman who used them. An officer responded and collected the counterfeit bills and information.

2:31pm The RP on Rosewood Drive believed she was being retaliated against because she was the victim of an assault. An officer collected information from the RP and gave advice over the telephone. The situation was not fully as initially reported.

3:57pm The RP on Windy Hollow Lane said her husband was in a fight with a contractor. The RP was transferred to Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

9:47pm A vehicle near Tisza Bistro on Healdsburg Avenue was stopped for driving without headlights. A 27-YO woman was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI).

11:04pm The RP on March Avenue at Oak Knoll Drive heard someone rev their car engine and a woman scream three times. Officers responded, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

Saturday, Aug. 29

10am Graffiti was reported at Aladdin Dry Cleaners on Terrace Boulevard.

2:05pm The RP on Piper Street said the RP’s vehicle parked on the street was hit. An officer provided an incident number for the RP’s insurance. No report was desired.

8:37pm The RP on Grove Street at West Grant Street said the driver of a truck veered into the opposite side of the road and stepped on the gas. The 38-YO man driving was arrested and transported to county jail for DUI.

11:49pm An intoxicated man at The Elephant In The Room on Healdsburg Avenue was asked to leave but refused. He threw a planter at the bouncer. The bouncer did not want to press charges but wanted to tell the police about the man. Patrol units were advised and would be on the lookout. Twelve minutes later the man returned. He argued with people and walked through the parking lot. The staff wanted to trespass the man from the property. Officers located the man nearby and transported him to HGH.

Sunday, Aug. 30

1:57am A vehicle was stopped near Chevron on Healdsburg Avenue for the exhibition of speed. A 39-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI.

2:25pm The RP at Safeway on Vine Street said a man left the store after staggering and slurring his words during checkout. The 59-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI.

3:37pm The RP at Lo & Behold Bar and Kitchen on Healdsburg Avenue said a coworker hit the RP in the face on Aug. 28. The business owner also made a cross report against the woman who caused a scene at the restaurant and wanted her trespassed from the property. An officer spoke with all parties and planned to make a report. Information about the trespass process was provided to the business owner.

6:29pm The RP at Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue said a truck drove around the plaza several times blasting music. Patrol units were advised of the situation.
