Monday, June 1

4:47am The Reporting Party (RP) at L&M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue said a resident was sprayed in the face with wasp and hornet killer. Medical assistance was staged. Officers responded, deemed there was no crime and canceled medical assistance.

3:55pm The RP at CVS Pharmacy on Center Street wanted officers to respond regarding a panhandler in front of the store. The store wanted to file charges for trespassing. Officers advised the panhandler of the complaint and asked him to leave. The RP planned to get a trespass letter notarized.

4:22pm The California Highway Patrol (CHP) forwarded information regarding a possible drunk driver seen driving erratically by excessively braking and running stop signs. Officers responded and found the 55-Year-Old (YO) woman at Chevron on Healdsburg Avenue. She was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI).

4:42pm The RP at the United States Postal Service (USPS) on Foss Creek Circle requested a fraud report. The RP deposited his rent check in the drop box at the Healdsburg post office on May 25. The RP’s landlord did not receive the check, but the RP’s bank said someone attempted to cash it after altering it. (NOTE: A number of subsequent and redundant fraud reports came from the Foss Creek Circle annex over the next several days; they have been omitted from this Police Log.)

Tuesday, June 2

1:30am The RP at Safeway on Vine Street said her vehicle was hit while parked in the parking lot on June 1, 2026. She did not want to press charges but wanted the suspect’s information for her insurance. Advice was given.

4:05pm The RP at Chevron on Healdsburg Avenue wanted help getting a woman to leave the property. The RP said the woman was drinking alcohol on the side of the building. She was asked to leave but did not. Officers contacted the woman and she agreed to leave.

4:36pm The RP at Opperman & Son on Kinley Drive said a man known to the owner trespassed on the property and threatened people at the business. Prior to the officers’ arrival, the man left the business. He was located at a nearby gas station. The 62-YO man was arrested for public intoxication and transported to county jail.

7:27pm The RP on Grove Street at Healdsburg Avenue said a person tagged the speed limit and cross walk sign with graffiti. At 7:57pm, another caller reported the same graffiti and suspect. Officers located the 18-YO suspect and arrested him for vandalism, possession of tools for vandalism and commission of a crime that benefitted a criminal street gang.

Wednesday, June 3

12:27am A vehicle fire occurred on Grove Street. The RP was transferred to Redcom, the fire dispatch. Officers arrived on the scene. Fire personnel handled the incident.

7:36am Fraud occurred at the USPS on Foss Creek Circle. The RP mailed a check from the mailbox outside the building. Someone stole the check from the box, altered it and deposited it in an Automated Teller Machine (ATM). The RP was defrauded of $9,000. An officer met with the RP and added the RP to an existing case from June 1. A report was taken.

9:38am The RP at Fitch Mountain Terrace I on South Fitch Mountain Road was with Adult Protective Services. The victim was groped inappropriately by a neighbor in the summer of 2025 while the victim was asleep. The suspect lived in the same complex as the victim, but the identity of the suspect was unknown. An officer spoke to the victim, and she planned to follow up with the officer at a later time.

10:32am The RP at Appellation Healdsburg on Dovetail Lane said that on May 8, 2026, a male massage therapist brushed his hands between the RP’s thighs and touched her private parts approximately three times. An officer advised the RP that a different officer would follow up with the RP on June 4, 2026. A report was taken.

Thursday, June 4

2:33pm An officer on South University Street conducted a probation search and found the subject to be in violation. The 40-YO man was arrested for violation of a court order, violation of a restraining order and stalking.

6:38pm A man who appeared to have been drinking almost crashed into the 7-Eleven store on Healdsburg Avenue. Officers arrested the 26-YO man for DUI, violation of probation, contempt of court and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to county jail.

Friday, June 5

12:48am The RP at St. John’s School on Fitch Street said a woman repeatedly drove on the wrong side of the road approaching the school. Officers were advised.

1:39pm The RP at Novedades Eva on Healdsburg Avenue said a man yelled and cursed at the RP through the door. The RP refused to unlock the door. An officer responded, but the man had already left the area. An officer contacted the RP.

4:03pm An accident occurred at Russian Riverkeeper on Healdsburg Avenue. A car was rear-ended by a truck. The RP requested assistance to determine fault. An officer responded but was unable to find the vehicles.

7:22pm A woman was at one of the doors of St. John’s School on Fitch Street with clothes, a cart and belongings everywhere. The RP wanted the woman to leave by nightfall. An officer advised the woman of the complaint.

10:26pm A 46-YO woman was arrested at West Plaza Park on North Street for resisting arrest and possession of open alcohol in a park. The woman was brought to county jail.

11:42pm A supervisor at The Lodge at Healdsburg on Grove Street called on behalf of an employee who had issues with a guest on the property. The RP was not willing to press charges unless the person refused to leave. Officers responded and contacted the employee. The guest had not been asked to leave so it was only a civil issue at the time.

Saturday, June 6

1:17pm The RP on Center Street attempted to serve a restraining order while the restrained party was at a baby shower. The RP said the subjects came outside and became involved in a verbal argument. An officer responded, contacted the RP and facilitated giving the paperwork to the individual.

1:24pm The RP on Harold Lane said someone entered his vehicle and stole several items. Stolen property included microphones valued at approximately $300, a shirt, a red bag and Meta glasses valued at approximately $400. Total losses were estimated to be $1,500. An officer contacted the victim, and the victim decided not to press charges.

8:02pm An employee of Taqueria El Sombrero on Center Street indicated that a person refused to leave the business and disrupted customers. An officer contacted the person who subsequently left.

8:55pm A woman at Dry Creek Kitchen on Healdsburg Avenue walked out on a tab of approximately $300. Officers responded and took a report.

Sunday, June 7

9:32am The RP on North Street thought a city ordinance violation for camping in a vehicle occurred. For several days a van was parked, and the RP believed a man and woman resided inside. Patrol was advised of the complaint.

10:39am Graffiti was reported on Chiquita Road at Grove Street.

3:58pm A man near Goodnight’s Prime Steak + Spirits on Plaza Street hit garbage cans and bushes with a metal stick, causing a disturbance. Officers responded, but police presence made the situation worse. Officers returned later when multiple other callers stated the man yelled profanities at children and put his head into a fountain. Officers contacted the man again, and the man left without further incident in an Uber.

8:42pm An officer on Healdsburg Avenue at Bailache Avenue stopped a 49-YO man who had an active warrant. A citation was issued.
