The Running Lions and Tigers logged impressive team performances
at Saturday’s North Coast Section Redwood Empire Track & Field
Championships hosted by Redwood High School.
Some three dozen West County athletes were competing with one
common goal — a top-seven finish which would qualify them to next
weekend’s Meet of Champions in Berkeley.
In all, the Lions and Tigers combined to advance 13 athletes to
the MOC, led by Analy’s Aidan O’Donnell, who took home an NCS title
in the High Jump.
