Running Lions, Tigers compete at SCL Cross-Country Championships

The West County was well-represented at the Sonoma County League
Cross-Country Champion-ships at Spring Lake in Santa Rosa on Nov. 6
as the Running Lions and Tigers took to the hills in big
numbers. 
Among the top performances from local runners was an impressive,
second-place showing among varsity girls for El Mo junior Nicole
Lane, and a seventh- place effort in the varsity boy’s race for
Analy senior Gustavo Vazquez. 
This Saturday, both local teams will compete at the NCS
Championships at Hayward High School, the last qualifier for
runners with State aspirations.
