The Lady Jaguars continued their season progression with a solid showing at their own Windsor Rumble in the Jungle Basketball Tournament on Dec. 12-14, claiming one win in three games to secure fourth place.

A win for seventh grade girls is this week’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Church’s Catholic Youth Organization game of the week. Coach Dave Avila’s girls squad held on for the 28-27 victory over St. Vincent of Petaluma. The win improved the team’s record to 6-3 in their quest to repeat as division champions.

Pandemic shuts down most sports for last nine months of year

Saturday, July 1 marked the end of the 2017 Little League baseball campaign for Cloverdale all stars, as the 12-year-old Majors squad was officially eliminated from District 35 tournament action.

The graduating senior class of 2021 at Cloverdale High School faced some of the most daunting challenges of any in recent history, both academically and athletically.

A competitive winter campaign was validated for some three dozen west county high school athletes, garnering recognition in basketball, soccer and wrestling as Top of Form voted on by North Bay League Oak and Redwood Division coaches this month.

It’s an exciting time of year for local high school soccer teams, taking the field this week in their respective North Coast Section playoff tournaments.

The graduating class of student/athletes of 2018 from Analy and El Molino high schools will be remembered for their many accomplishments, both on the field and in the classroom.
