Our Lady of Guadalupe Church’s Catholic Youth Organization Game of the Week

A 10-point fourth quarter outburst highlighted this week’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Church’s Catholic Youth Organization Game of the Week. The 4th/5th grade combination team defeated St. Vincent of Petaluma to up their league record to 1-2. They were down 13-8 entering the quarter but Cole “Hat” Andretich and Gavin Peterson each scored four points in the fourth to lead the OLG win.

Cloverdale Spirit Team performs in Sacramento

The Cloverdale High School Spirit Team had the pleasure of performing at the Sacramento Kings vs. Denver Nuggets game during half time on Saturday, Jan. 6. They performed with 10-plus other varsity teams who all spent months practicing and perfecting their performances.

Eagle Pride Sports Banquet (Slideshow)

The Cloverdale Eagle Pride Boosters Club held its annual winter sports banquet at the Cloverdale Citrus Fairgrounds honoring the high school boys and girls basketball programs. The event was a huge success and gave recognition to not only a large group of athletes that like to shoot the ball around but also a group of students who took the time to excel in the classroom, the scholar-athletes. To become a scholar-athlete the student must carry a minimum 3.5 GPA or higher, a feat that takes a great deal of dedication while participating in high school athletics.
