The Cloverdale High School tennis team captured the NCL 1 championship this month, finishing league play with a record of 7-1.

The Lady Eagles are on the verge of their third straight NCL1 basketball championship entering the final week of the regular season, needing just one win in their last two outings to claim the pennant outright. 

Playoff baseball is in the air for local high school teams this week, as the Sonoma County League champion Analy Tigers and West County cousin El Molino prepare for what is hoped will be a strong postseason run.

Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week.

Local high school cross country teams resumed their respective league schedules on Oct. 25 after a three-week hiatus due to the fires and resulting unhealthy outdoor air, hitting the North Bay trails in a pair of meets.
