Analy, El Mo open league schedule on March 29

The ides of March signal the start of the spring softball season, as El Molino and Analy teams prepare for what should be a competitive campaign.

Local boys high school basketball teams will open the North Bay League season this week, with Analy and El Molino both looking to climb the ladder in their respective divisions.

Analy and El Molino logged a busy stretch on the high school softball diamond, combining for nine games in a four-day period.

The El Molino Wildcats club wrestling team opened the tournament season in impressive fashion on March 24 in a meet hosted by Healdsburg, with several athletes earning individual medals.

The Windsor High School softball program will have a new look and direction this season under first-year varsity coach Charlie Johnson, but the expectations of a competitive spring campaign remain the same.

The Lady Jaguars maintained a share of second place in the North Bay League Oak Division standings, scoring key wins over Montgomery (5-3) and Ukiah (10-0) to push their record to 5-3 and 10-6 overall.
