Cloverdale’s varsity girls basketball team hit the accelerator last week, beating Kelseyville, Middletown and Willits in a five-day span to run its North Central League I record to 7-4.

For the first time in years there will be no postseason soccer for Windsor High School soccer teams, as both the varsity boys and girls fell just short of North Coast Section playoff consideration.

Windsor hosted 69 youth basketball teams last weekend as the hoop season opened with the 9th annual Fall Tip-Off Tournament. The event was co-hosted by Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Catholic Youth Organization Basketball program and the Town of Windsor’s Parks and Recreation Department.
