For the last several weeks we’ve been featuring some of the top graduating senior athletes from Windsor High School, recalling their many highlights and accomplishments. 

Cloverdale Charger football signups will be on April 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cloverdale High School. Cost is $80 per child or $120 for two children in the same family. The program is open to children nine to 14 years old; no eight-year-olds are accepted this year.

Despite the recent high temperatures and pouring rain cutting into competition and practice time, Healdsburg High School cross country teams have logged some miles in invitational tournaments so far this fall, with some exciting opportunities ahead. Ladies host annual Windsor Tournament on Dec. 12-14  

The winter sports season has arrived, but Cloverdale High School's fall sports stars received one last shout-out recently with the release of the All-North Central League I teams, which are determined by a vote of the league's coaches.

On Wednesday, Nov. 2 the Cloverdale cross-country team traveled to Willits for a challenging 2.9 mile course.

Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week.

As is often the case, track and field is among the first spring sports to get underway. The big event opening the season was the Big Cat Invitational, held at Santa Rosa High on Saturday, March 1. Last weekend came the Gaucho Relays, at Casa Grade High. This weekend it's the Field Event Jamboree in Santa Rosa.

The El Molino wrestling team continued to impress on the tournament circuit on Saturday, with its latest exploits coming in a frosh/soph, JV and varsity girls tournament at Vallejo High School.
