Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week.

OLG CYO youth basketball game of the week

Coach Mark Stainer’s team had to come from behind and then hold on for the 31-30 victory over St. Vincent of Petaluma in this week’s Catholic Youth Organization game of the week. The winning 7th grade boys represent Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and evened their league record at 1-1.

Golf Challenge raises $35,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs in Windsor

On Thursday, Sept. 6, over 100 golfers came out for the 26th Annual Be Great Golf Challenge at Windsor Golf Club to support after school and summer programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Sonoma County’s Windsor clubs. The 4-person scramble event yields a gross-score (no handicaps used) winner and a net-score (handicaps used) winner.
