Jaguars garner winter all league honors

A successful winter sports campaign was validated for 31 Windsor High School athletes, garnering all North Bay League recognition in basketball, soccer and wrestling as voted on by coaches.

End of season matches for golfing juniors

On August 18th and 19th the North Bay Junior Leagues held it’s end of season matches. Rounds 1-4 were hosted by the Windsor Golf Club.  27 juniors from eight different golf clubs participated in nine-hole matches. Participating golf clubs included Bennett Valley, Fairgrounds, Fountaingrove, Healdsburg, Northwood, Petaluma Country Club, Santa Rosa Country Club and Windsor. Results listed below.

OLG CYO basketball game of the week

A strong fourth quarter led Our Lady of Guadalupe’s 6th grade girls team to a 22-16 win over St. John in Catholic Youth Organization play. The game was tied at the half but the Windsor girls trailed 16-14 heading into the fourth quarter.

Athletes of the Week 4-28-16

Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week. Recipients will receive a free small soda, a small bag of chips and a sandwich from Pohley’s Market.

The Eagles are hitting their stride on the league volleyball court this month, playing some of their best ball of the season in gaining an even split in a pair of matches.
