Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week

Running Jags rounding into form on cross country trails

The high school cross country season will enter a busy phase for the “Running Jags” this week, starting a stretch that will feature weekly races highlighted by league meets in the newly aligned NBL Redwood Division and culminating in the post league events leading up to the prestigious CIF State Championships.

OLG basketball game of the week

Lady of Guadalupe Church’s 25 teams are down to two weeks of North Bay Catholic Youth Organization regular season play. Coach Erika Boyles eighth grade girls team secured a playoff spot with an exciting 37-34 victory over St. Vincent of Petaluma in this week’s OLG CYO game of the week.

Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week. Recipients will receive a free small soda, a small bag of chips and a sandwich from Pohley’s Market. 

Eagles fall to Head Royce in NCS basketball tourney

The varsity basketball Eagles reached the end of a three-month journey in the opening round of the North Coast Section Division 5 basketball playoffs on Feb. 13, falling at No. 4 Head Royce of Oakland, 56-44.
