The Eagles shook off 18 months of rust on Friday in their much-anticipated return to the gridiron, dismantling an over-matched Healdsburg squad in a 34-6 romp at Recreation Park.

The threat of COVID-19 test has forced the Cloverdale Chargers youth football teams to temporarily halt practices and regular activities after a player tested positive on Aug. 25. 

September has arrived and volleyball season is in full swing at Cloverdale High School, as the Eagles begin their quest for a winning campaign.
