Sunny skies and breezy conditions met a small Cloverdale contingent on April 2 at the annual Chip Castleberry Invitational Track meet hosted by Analy High School in Sebastopol. The meet included hundreds of athletes and more than two dozen participating teams, including Cloverdale, Analy, El Molino, Fort Bragg, Healdsburg, Montgomery, Petaluma, Piner, Maria Carrillo, Rincon Valley Christian, San Mateo, Sonoma, Technology and Windsor.

Healdsburg High School students had the week off for spring break, and while that slowed down the sports calendar for the time being, things should pick up next week, as games stack up two and three times a week into May.
