JV basketball ends season with league record, pennant
To establish consistency at the junior varsity level, in a small school, is a difficult challenge each and every year. The coaching staff is handed a roster and asked to run with it. The varsity program picks and chooses its players and fills its roster with those “varsity ready” athletes, which usually means the JV program has a fresh new group to rally around and compete with year after year. This year’s championship team (18-8 over-all) was no exception returning only three players from last year’s successful campaign.
Running Tigers host Lions in dual cross country showdown
West county bragging rights were on the line for the annual cross country clash between Analy and El Molino on Oct. 24 in Sebastopol, with the North Bay League Redwood Division rivals toeing the starting line on the 2.65-mile Ragle Ranch Regional Park course.
SPRING CONCERT ANNOUNCED
Washington School and Cloverdale High School will present their annual Spring Concert on Thursday, May 15, at 7:30pm in the Citrus Fair Auditorium. Groups to be featured will include the 7th/ 8th grade Concert Band, the CHS Concert Band, and the CHS Wind Ensemble. Admission is free but donations will be gladly accepted to help pay for the auditorium. Director Ken Collins cordially invites one and all to this musical celebration.
