The Running Lions and Tigers took to the trails on their respective home courses on Oct. 17, as El Molino played host to Rancho Cotate at Riverfront Park while Analy entertained visiting Cardinal Newman at Ragle Ranch Regional Park.

Analy junior Sierra Atkins shatters school mark in 1,600 Meters

Michael Lucid has been at most home games, absorbed in taking photos of the players—volleyball, basketball, on the track or the field—photos that capture the athletes in action, a snapshot in time.

For the next several weeks we’ll be featuring some of the top graduating senior athletes from Windsor High School, recalling their many highlights and accomplishments.

The 2019 baseball season will likely end for Windsor youth baseball all-star teams this week, a stretch that saw a flurry of action in Cal Ripken State All-star tournaments in venues around Northern California.  

El Molino High School is seeking applicants for its vacant varsity wrestling and varsity cheer coaching positions.  Interested applicants can contact Mike Roan, El Molino Athletic Director at 824-6563 or [email protected].  

The high school volleyball season is underway this month, and like many other local teams, the Analy Tigers are grateful to be back on the court after months of delay and uncertainty.

This week the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church’s Catholic Youth Organization game of the week was an exciting 43-42 victory over St. Eugene of Santa Rosa. Coach Scotty Kelsay’s 7th grade boys team was down 31-25 entering the fourth quarter. It looked like an OLG loss until Nathan Solomon hit a 35-foot three pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime knotted at 37.
