Winter Sports Season Melts Away

Three Healdsburg High athletics teams made their NCS playoff entrance, and exit, last Wednesday after we went to press. The girls basketball team, and both girls and boys soccer teams, made it into the playoffs, but their post-season ended quickly in all cases. 

OLG basketball game of the week

Balanced scoring and good defense were the keys to victory for third grade boys in Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Catholic Youth Organization play. Coach Al McCormick’s boys defeated Sonoma’s St. Francis of Solano Church 15-12 in the Saturday morning game.
