The West County varsity volleyball squad continued to prep for the upcoming North Bay League season on Sept. 4, claiming one win in three matches in a local tournament.

Analy and El Molino High School softball teams will start the season anew this week when they take the field in their respective North Coast Section playoff tournaments.

Local high school track and field athletes continued to prep for the upcoming league season at the 7th annual Windsor Relays on Saturday, March 11, an event hosted by Windsor High School.

The varsity basketball Greyhounds will be gunning for a strong finish to the North Bay League campaign this week, hoping to extend their season for as long as possible.

The Cloverdale Eagle Pride Booster Club is opening their Christmas tree lot this week on Friday, Nov. 29. This is the second year that the club has operated the lot, taking it over from the Cloverdale Lions Club last year. The club financially supports Cloverdale student athletes from seventh grade through high school. The lot is located just north of Cloverdale Ace Hardware.

The high school sports world is on hold for at least three weeks due to the threat of coronavirus, as all Sonoma County schools try to minimize the spread of the disease.

The Windsor Wicked 12 and under girls fast-pitch softball team is in the midst of an outstanding summer on the Northern California tournament circuit, most recently capturing first place in the Bill Bowen Invitational Tournament held in Sonoma on July 21-23. Windsor won all five of their games over the three-day weekend event.
