The end of the holiday season signals the start of the North Bay League girls campaign for Analy and El Molino teams, with both looking for a strong showing in their respective divisions.

Analy and El Molino girls basketball teams are emerging from an outstanding preseason this week, with both teams hopeful of carrying their winning mojo into the upcoming North Bay League campaign.

As we near the end of another year it’s only fitting that we look back and pay tribute to some of the best moments in local sports.

A 10-point fourth quarter outburst highlighted this week’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Church’s Catholic Youth Organization Game of the Week. The 4th/5th grade combination team defeated St. Vincent of Petaluma to up their league record to 1-2. They were down 13-8 entering the quarter but Cole “Hat” Andretich and Gavin Peterson each scored four points in the fourth to lead the OLG win.
