Eagles Cross Country girls end season undefeated

At their final meet on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Willits, the Eagle girls ended their regular season undefeated for the second year in a row. With five runners on each team Cloverdale, with 21, handily beat Willits and Clearlake whose final scores were 51 and 52 respectively.  St. Helena did not have five runners, so their team finishes did not count.

Eagles girls cross country team wins Coastal Mountain Championship

On Wednesday, Nov. 13 the CHS Girls Cross Country runners captured an NCL 1 League championship after having an undefeated season for the past two years. The team earned a first place finish in a field of 17 teams, eight from the NCL 1, eight from NCL 2 and one independent team.

Scholar-athletes honored

All good things eventually come to an end, and so it went for the Eagle’s JV squad on Apr. 22 in dropping its first game of the season to visiting Kelseyville.   Cloverdale starter Chris Harms (5 IP, 2 hits, 1 run, 8 Ks) had just a workout to show for his solid efforts, pitching the first five innings before turning the ball over to Michael McDermott (2 IP, 6 hits, 5 runs, 3 Ks) in a 6-5 loss.
