It started Monday morning: "11:16am A warrant service officer contacted a man and woman at Goodwill Industries on Healdsburg Avenue. A 58-Year-Old (YO) man was cited and released on two outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding failure to appear, possession of a switchblade, trespassing, possession of an open container, theft of utility services and possession of drug paraphernalia..."

Early in the morning of March 12, three Healdsburg Police officers went to Los Gatos to arrest the suspect Damian Martines-Osorio, who was now living under another alias. With the cooperation of the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department, whose officers surrounded the scene, police attempted to arrest Martines-Osorio. Once again, however, he attempted to flee on foot but this time he was captured while trying to jump over a fence. The arrest was logged at 8:48am. 

12:43pm The RP indicated that between four and six juveniles were on the beach of Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach near the boat dock when he heard two gunshots three minutes apart. Monday, Feb. 24, 12:33am A vehicle was stopped on Healdsburg Avenue for not complying with rear lighting rules. A 29-Year-Old (YO) man was arrested and transported to county jail for drunk driving and  violating probation....

A spate of graffiti incidents took place in Healdsburg early in the morning of March 1, but before it was over two men were arrested with incriminating evidence that police believe associated them with three such vandalism incidents that same morning.

Tues. Feb. 18: The director of Marine Layer Wines on Center Street reported that a person was living in front of the business and his possessions were accumulating. At the time of the call, the man was in front of Downtown Bakery. The RP planned to call back if the man returned to Marine Layer Wines, to possibly file trespassing paperwork against the man....

Among this week's entries: "8:29am The Reporting Party (RP) stated that while he was leaving Safeway on Vine Street the previous day, he saw a vehicle back into his vehicle. He tried to get the driver’s attention but the person drove off. The RP was not the owner of the vehicle and stated the vehicle was a company car. An officer advised the RP to have the owner of the vehicle call the police department if the owner wanted a report...."

BUST On Feb. 12, Healdsburg Police performed a welfare check on an elementary school child who was not picked up after school at the bus stop. Police had been contacted on the advice of a family member about possible drug use by the mother. During the welfare check they located several ounces of suspected methamphetamines, marijuana, and a scale in the mother’s vehicle outside the residence. During the booking process of the suspect, a 33-year old woman, it was discovered that she was in possession of additional items of contraband concealed in her bra, including drugs, paraphernalia, and over $1,000 in US and Mexican currency.

A wall of Fitch Mountain slid onto the county road just beyond Villa Chanticleer during the recent storms. The county Public Infrastructure Department has already put out an RFP for North Fitch Mountain Road storm damage repair, contract No. C11601. Deadline for bid submissions is March 4...
