Officers responded and the juveniles fled. Knives were located and multiple juveniles were detained...

A violent morning drama unfolded on the streets of Healdsburg just before Independence Day 2023. It resulted in the death of Abel Garza, a 41-year-old resident of Santa Rosa. Last week, more than a year after the incident, the criminal case against his accused killer, Romario Cisneros, was dismissed by the Sonoma County District Attorney.

Don't drive buzzed. "2:54pm A vehicle was stopped on Piper Street at Center Street for violating registration rules. A 38-Year-Old (YO) man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, driving without a license and lacking proof of insurance. A 47-YO man was cited and released for misuse of license and registration documents, violation of probation, violation of vehicle registration rules, violation of the open container law, and on outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding driving with a license suspended for driving under the influence (DUI) and driving without a required ignition interlock device...."

Day in the life: 7:09pm The RP on Fitch Street stated that about 10 people were in a physical fight in front of her house. The RP heard yelling, cussing, slapping and hitting. Officers responded and made contact with two subjects. Medical help was staged, but subsequently canceled. A report was taken.

A 30-year-old (YO) man was stopped for lacking properly displayed license plates near Otoro Sushi on Healdsburg Avenue. He was cited and released for driving with a license and an open container of soy sauce.

Two recent arrests in Healdsburg for drug and firearms violations, both publicized by Healdsburg Police on their social media platforms, raised eyebrows among readers and residents as they demonstrate that the crimes of firearms and narcotics are not limited to urban areas, but are present in Healdsburg as well.

8:53am The Reporting Party (RP) indicated that a person continually parked in a vehicle near Santa Rosa Lead Products on South University Street was leaving behind trash, including soda and beer bottles. The RP was asked to call back if the vehicle returned and if the vehicle continued to leave trash behind...

Monday Sept. 30, An officer near Carl’s Jr. on Vine Street stopped a subject on a bike, arresting a 49-YO man and transporting him to county jail for possession of methamphetamine, violation of probation, shoplifting and on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding failure to appear on a felony charge.... "Sept 10, 3:34pm: A vehicle was stopped at the Senior Center lot on East Street for not allowing pedestrians to pass. The driver’s license was confiscated and the driver was cited for driving with a suspended license." Don't mess with those seniors!
