Bargain ‘Angels’
No set price for the Thursday 7:30pm show of the Raven Players production of Angels in America: Part 1; pay what you choose. Steven David Martin directs the Tony Kushner Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Women of Hamlet
A Room in the Castle by Lauren Gunderson (The Book of Will) re-imagines the women trapped by class, circumstances, expectations and desire within the walls of Elsinore. Grace Bowers
Rodney Strong Vineyards hosts the HWFE’s annual outdoor concert on Friday evening. Nineteen-year-old, award-winning guitarist, singer, songwriter and bandleader Grace Bowers headlines, Hannah Ellis opens, food trucks from Black Pig to Sol Azteca, 5:30-9pm. Analog Analog
The music-based gathering formerly known as Cosmico takes over the Wildhaven Sonoma glamping camp in Alexander Valley for a three-day festival of song, dance, games and real-world connection. Second Line Smoke
Barbecue and wine featuring Matt Horn, Oakland-based BBQ chef usually seen this time of year at HWFC. He’ll fire it up for a “Gulf Coast Live Fire Experience” (there’s that word!) with oysters, brisket and ribs, music and wine; $250 benefits local charities. Market Day
At Saturday’s Farmers’ Market, the Healdsburg Garden Club will hold a Spring Plant Sale, all proceeds to benefit their Scholarship Program. The Saturday Farmers’ Market is spreading its wings in the new Foley Family Community Pavilion, 3 North St., from 8:30am to noon. Buy fresh local produce, snacks and crafts, plus live music from John Youngblood.
Graveyard Shift
The Kiwanis and Healdsburg Museum will be raking, sweeping and tidying up the old section of Oak Mound Cemetery, starting at 9am. The old section is not endowed, it takes local volunteer energy to get the job done. Show up at 9am and work will continue until 1pm, when a picnic lunch will be provided by the Museum.
Grand Tasting
The Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience’s largest single event is Saturday from noon to 4pm. It’s held at what’s called the Vintners Plaza, which the other 364 days of the year is the city parking lot behind Hotel Healdsburg. Admission and more at healdsburgwineandfood.com/events/grand-tasting.
Vamos al Tianguis

St. Thurgood
The first African-American Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Thurgood Marshall, is a saint in the Episcopal Church. His is honored by a Saint’s Day on May 17, with a free Choral Evensong concert at 5pm. Director of music Paul Blanchard will play a number of beautiful classical selections, accompanying the St. Paul’s choir. St. Paul’s Episcopal, 209 Matheson St.

Ward Street Workshop
A community workshop on the Ward Street Neighborhood Improvements Project, which will include an evaluation of the existing infrastructure within the roadways of Adeline Way, Ward Street, Palm Avenue and South University Street.
