Monday, April 27
7:39am The Reporting Party (RP) at Safeway on Vine Street said a hit-and-run occurred in the parking lot. The suspect was not at the scene, but a bystander had information about the incident. A report was taken.
12:49pm The RP at West Plaza Park on North Street said a man yelled for an unknown reason. Officers responded, but the man was gone on arrival and unable to be located.
1:01pm The RP said a man at Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue had his pants down and his genitals exposed. The man appeared to be doing yoga. The 42-Year-Old (YO) man was arrested for violation of probation and brought to county jail.
1:02pm A citation was issued to a 51-YO man at West Plaza Park on North Street on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding trespassing.
2:20pm The RP on Paul Wittke Drive said her roommate sent “threatening” messages to the RP. No specific threats were made. An officer responded and offered advice.
10:35pm The RP at Monte Vina on Prentice Drive said a person pushed her into the apartment and left in a vehicle when the RP called 911. Officers checked the area and located the vehicle, but not the suspect. A report was taken.
11:15pm A vehicle was stopped on March Avenue for speeding. A 19-YO man was arrested on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding assault and battery. The man was cited to appear.
Tuesday, April 28
2:08pm The RP on North Dutton Avenue in Santa Rosa wanted to turn himself in for domestic violence that occurred the previous day, April 27. Santa Rosa officers subsequently arrested the 30-YO man for domestic battery and false imprisonment. An emergency protective order was served. The BOLO (be on the lookout order) was canceled and the man’s vehicle was removed from the Flock license plate reader system.
6:58pm The RP at the 7-Eleven on Healdsburg Avenue said there was an accident and the suspect vehicle fled. An officer responded. The suspect vehicle returned. Information was subsequently exchanged without incident.
Wednesday, April 29
1:08am A city ordinance violation officer gave people advice regarding being in Giorgi Park on University Street after hours.
8:28am A woman slept outside the spa by the public restrooms near Hotel Healdsburg on Matheson Street. The RP wanted the woman to be trespassed from the property. A 46-YO woman was arrested and brought to county jail for trespassing and resisting an officer.
12:50pm The RP at McDonald’s on Healdsburg Avenue said a woman acted aggressively. While the RP was on the phone, the woman left in a vehicle. An officer responded and spoke to the manager.
1:20pm The RP said threats occurred at Healdsburg City Hall on Grove Street. In a shared cubicle, a person told the RP “one of these days I’m going to take you out” and “you better watch out.” The RP wanted the incident documented. The RP said she provided a written statement to Human Resources. An officer attempted to contact the other party and did not get an answer.
4:52pm A probation violation officer contacted a 55-YO man at West Plaza Park on North Street. He was arrested and brought to county jail for violation of a court order, violation of probation and depositing trash near a waterway.
9:42pm The RP on Healdsburg Avenue indicated that a vehicle intentionally tried to hit the RP’s vehicle. An officer met with the RP at Giorgi Park and subsequently looked for the suspect vehicle. The officer was unable to make contact with the suspect. A report was taken.
Thursday, April 30
6:12pm A citation was issued to a person driving with a suspended license near CVS Pharmacy on Center Street.
Friday, May 1
9:46am The RP, an employee at the United States Postal Service on Foss Creek Circle, said approximately 20-25 peaceful protesters on the property blocked the driveway. Officers responded and determined that the driveway was not blocked. Another call from staff indicated that protesters partially blocked the driveway and made it difficult or impossible for customers to enter the parking lot and park. Officers responded again and did not see anyone blocking the driveway.
10:31am The RP at Healdsburg High School on Prince Avenue requested an officer to issue a citation to a student found with a container that had marijuana residue inside. Officers contacted the RP, but did not cite the student. Discipline would be handled by the school.
5:50pm The RP was with his daughter at the Healdsburg Police Department on Center Street. The RP stated that she had just assaulted him in their vehicle. The RP also stated that she was recently released from a psychiatric hold. Officers contacted both parties, and the daughter was placed on a psychiatric hold and transported to Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center.
6:54pm The RP said there were ongoing noise issues at Tayman Park Reservoir on South Fitch Mountain Road. The RP stated the property often had landscaping activity and was too loud. The RP was informed of the city ordinance but wanted more information. The complaint was forwarded to Code Enforcement for follow up.
9:38pm A vehicle was stopped for expired registration on Healdsburg Avenue at Piper Street. A 75-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI) and on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding DUI causing injury.
Saturday, May 2
12:26am A vehicle was stopped on Westside Road at Kinley Drive due to expired registration. A 42-YO man was brought to the police department and a warrant was obtained for a blood draw. Bell’s Ambulance Service arrived at the police department to assist. The man refused to comply and was transported to county jail for DUI, obstructing an officer or emergency medical technician, and violation of a court order.
12:37am The RP on Sunnyvale Drive said a father grabbed his son by the jacket. The RP subsequently hung up stating “never mind.” Dispatch heard an argument in the background. Officers responded and contacted the parties. An officer determined there had been a verbal argument between the RP and the RP’s brother. Their father stepped in to stop the fight, leaving red marks on the RP. The RP did not want to press charges.
6:38pm A vehicle was stopped for speeding on Hwy 101 at Geyserville Avenue. A 31-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for resisting arrest, public intoxication and violation of probation. The man was advised of an outstanding Mendocino County warrant.
9:40pm The RP on Sunnyvale Drive said someone made harassing and annoying phone calls to the RP. The RP had an existing report on file. The RP believed the calls were from a former student. Several calls were from an unknown number. One of the calls had music playing. The information was given to the RP’s employer. The RP wanted the incident added to her report. An officer provided advice to the RP.
Sunday, May 3
1:35am A vehicle was stopped on Lytton Station Road at Healdsburg Avenue for weaving. A 42-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI.
11:31am The RP on Harold Lane said that a purse, keys, credit card and ID were stolen the previous day. The RP had a suspicion about who may have taken the property. An officer spoke with the RP and offered advice on canceling cards. The RP was directed to call back if the RP was able to identify a suspect. An incident number was provided to the RP for documentation.
8:00pm The California Highway Patrol (CHP) called in an intoxicated driver on Healdsburg Avenue at Alexander Valley Road. The Flock license plate reader indicated that the vehicle left the city traveling southbound on Hwy 101. CHP and a Healdsburg officer were notified.
9:29pm Two callers on North Street said a vehicle hit a building and a parked car. The vehicle then left the scene. Officers searched the area and made contact with the registered owner of the damaged vehicle. The registered owner of the suspect vehicle was unable to be located. A voicemail was left for that suspect by an officer, and a report was taken.
